You are eligible to use the Startempirewire.com job board (“Platform”) to post job openings only if you are a legal entity doing business in the jurisdictions you are recruiting for.

2.1. Accuracy and Responsibility

All job postings submitted to the Platform must be accurate, truthful, and not misleading in any way. You are solely responsible for the content of your job postings and any consequences arising from their publication on the Platform.

2.2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Your job postings must comply with all applicable California and federal laws and regulations, including, but not limited to:

  • California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA)
  • California Labor Code
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964

2.3. Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment

Job postings must not contain any discriminatory or offensive language, content, or imagery related to protected characteristics under FEHA, such as race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, medical condition, or disability. You are prohibited from posting jobs that:

  • Discriminate against or harass any individual or group.
  • Promote illegal activities.
  • Violate others’ intellectual property rights.
  • Contain confidential information.

3. Fees

Startempirewire.com reserves the right to implement fees for job postings at our sole discretion. We will clearly communicate any associated fees before you are charged.

4. Term and Termination

Startempirewire.com reserves the right to remove any job posting that violates these terms and conditions, California law, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate. We may also suspend or terminate your access to the Platform for any violation of these terms.

5. Disclaimer

Startempirewire.com does not screen or endorse any job postings or employers on the Platform. We are not responsible for the content of job postings, the qualifications of employers, or the suitability of job seekers. We are not liable for any interactions between job seekers and employers that occur through the Platform.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America.

7. Disputes

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions will be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of California, United States of America.

8. Notice Regarding Independent Contractor Status

Startempirewire.com does not control or supervise the work performed by employers or job seekers using the Platform. It is your sole responsibility to determine the appropriate employment classification for any workers you engage through this Platform, including whether they are employees or independent contractors.

Startempirewire.com reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. We will post any changes on the website and encourage you to review these terms periodically.
