Regional Leadership Academy (RLA) is now officially open for applicants. The Regional Leadership Academy, an initiative led by the Inland Empire Economic Partnership, aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to address regional issues, navigate public policy, and understand the political and cultural landscape within the Inland Empire and the state of California. Through this program, participants will embark on a journey of personal and professional growth that will leave a lasting impact on the region.
From September 2023 to June 2024, the 11th Cohort will engage in all-day monthly sessions that cover a wide range of topics, from economic development and sustainability to effective communication and strategic planning. These sessions will be led by experts in their respective fields, ensuring that participants receive the highest quality education and training.
One of the unique aspects of the Regional Leadership Academy is the opportunity for participants to travel to various locations within the Inland Empire. This travel aspect allows for meaningful interactions with regional and statewide leaders, fostering civic engagement and building relationships crucial for leadership development. Through firsthand experiences and on-site visits, participants will gain valuable insights into the region’s challenges and opportunities.
Over the years, the Regional Leadership Academy has achieved significant success, graduating ten cohorts of exceptional leaders. These alumni have played vital roles in building and strengthening a well-connected network of public and private sector business leaders, exemplifying the best that the Inland Empire offers.
